The “SPOTLIGHT” creates the “TRUTH”

WE BUY INTO WHATEVER IS HIGHLIGHTED ASSERTIVELY, UNAPOLOGETICALLY AND REPETITIOUSLY.

While reading the newspaper, one day, you come across a tiny headline “Teacher stabbed while taking a night walk“. 

In a week’s time, you come across a headline “Another teacher stabbed while on the way home from a marriage party”.

You begin to feel that the country is becoming very unsafe for teachers.

A few weeks ahead, another headline “Teacher stabbed in a burglary incident at her home”.

Your apprehension begin to solidify a lot more.

Add to these a few demonstrations by teacher’s associations. A few media bytes on TV channels by teachers – “we create the future society. Don’t we deserve a safe society to live in?” A few articles by sociologists and psychologists on how the lifestyle and the salaries of teaches do not enable them to be strong enough to protect themselves. Benevolent philanthropists come forward to provide free self-defense trainings to Teachers.

With all the action going all around, with all the buzz on the topic, you become absolutely sure without a doubt – “THIS COUNTRY HAS BECOME TOTALLY UNSAFE FOR TEACHERS“.

In all these cases, possibly, there was absolutely no correlation between the person being stabbed and his occupation. There were just isolated, unrelated, random criminal incidents. Between all these incidents, there would have been dozens of crime stories, but they probably didn’t catch the attention because the occupation was not highlighted, or the occupation being highlighted was not the one that really concerns you so much.

Much of what gets passed around as “TRUTH” just depends on somebody’s ability to highlight them well. 

All TRUTH is created by the SPOTLIGHT.

Our conscious thinking is very limited. There is very little information we can consciously manage. 

One example of anything is good enough to start creating a pattern and a conclusion. It almost like half of our ability to carry and process ideas.

Two examples are almost all-hands-full.

Three examples and we are already forced to resort to jugglery to manage our information.

Anything above that, and we have discovered the TRUTH. So what the 8 billion minus 4 examples point to the contrary. TRUTH is what is in front of us, being thrown into our faces day in and day out.

What prevented them from becoming the TRUTH was that they were not sufficiently highlighted, not given the right amount of SPOTLIGHT. 

Much of the world around has been shaped by the limitations of our conscious cognitive ability. We believe and trust what we can understand. Anything that overflows through our ability to process is discarded and denied existence in our reality.

This limited conscious ability also limits how much of explanations and justifications we can process and hold onto. 

Most of the TRUTH that grow deeper roots in our society are products of simple ASSERTIONS.

Hence, those who resort to simple assertions are often able to drum in their lies with far ease, as compared to those who try to venture into painstaking justifications, explanations and proofs.

A simple, unapologetic statement

“This is WRONG because my religion says so”.

finds much more gravity than a lukewarm attempt to explain in great detail on how certain things you believe from your traditions have been substantiated by so many scientific research and vlada vlada and vlada vlada.

In the real world, ASSERTION simple outdoes any amount of logical justification. 

The intensity of the SPOTLIGHT is another factor that determines what is the TRUTH.

When we try to”defend” against a malicious content with logic, reason, rationale, we have lose the battle before it starts.

All massively successful ideologies (“success” as defined by how many subscribe to them) are those who resorted to simple cliches and hammered them in people’s minds with tireless, relentless repetitive assertions (backed with other safety nets, e.g. unapologetic genocides). These are the ideologies, which provide ONLY ONE explanation as justification of all their actions – “MY BELIEF SYSTEM SAYS SO“. Period.

We are more than aware that in our times, a couple of intense headlines and a couple of intense images more than suffice to create a “World Opinion”.

Those who tried to counter them with logic and reason stood absolutely no chance, and never will.

If we have to succeed in countering the world of Masks, we need to realize the simple principle : 

“Intent” generates “content”.

When any content is countered, the intent that generates is capable of generating another instance of that content with ease. Intent is like the “raktbeej” – the demon that multiplies with each drop of its blood. Every time it loses one drop of blood, it can generate a completely new monster in entirety.

You can keep countering and blasting  away any amount of content, but as long as the intent is not addressed, and the assembly line producing the content remains hyper-active, it will keep producing enough content to keep the lie alive.

The SPOTLIGHT is always where the action is.

All it takes to create the SPOTLIGHT is a narrow beam of intense light. If the SPOTLIGHT is bedazzling enough, what is shown there becomes secondary. Even an ordinary action under the SPOTLIGHT becomes scintillitating.

Moreover, when a SPOTLIGHT becomes attractive enough, it attracts others to contribute more shiny beams.

All it takes to generate TRUTH is :

– a couple of EXAMPLES

– delivered with ruthless, unapolegetic, tireless, repetitious ASSERTION

When it is so easy to create a world of Masks, you could spend a lifetime countering and busting the content of the SPOTLIGHT and the intent will create another piece of fresh content before you blink.

To demolish a lie, you need to begin by confronting, revealing and questioning the “intent”.

Unless you peel off that mask and reveal the real face, there is no way we can get anywhere close to busting lies and malice.

The only way to dismantle a LIE from being peddled as TRUTH is to first find a way to TURN THAT SPOTLIGHT OFF !!!
